The award winners were selected based on millions of reviews and opinions collected from TripAdvisor travelers worldwide over the past year. In its 16th annual awards ceremony, TripAdvisor highlighted 8,095 top-rated properties in 94 countries and 8 regions around the globe.

This year, the TripAdvisor Awards honored winning hotels in 10 categories, including: Top Hotels, Luxury Hotels, Affordable Hotels, Small Hotels, Excellent Service Hotels, B&Bs and Inns, Romantic Hotels, Family Hotels, All-inclusive Hotels, and Hotels Worth the Money. The Travellers' Choice Awards are judged based on top-tier service, value, and quality.
