Since officially resuming operations in August 2021, AHA Vietnam (Australian Hospitality Alumni Network Vietnam) has organized...Hospitality 101- A monthly series of free online webinars for students, alumni, and hospitality professionals in Australia, expanding to discuss various topics in the Hospitality and Tourism industry. The educational webinar series attracts active participation from leading corporations such as Lufthansa Group, IPP Travel Retail, and experts from major hotel establishments like Fusion Suites Vung Tau and Marriott Melbourne Docklands.

The final online seminar of 2021 took place on December 4th with the theme "What About Vietnam - Welcoming International Tourists in the Post-Covid-19 Era," created to discuss the considerations and trends of tourism in Vietnam for alumni in the tourism and hospitality industry - one of the fastest-growing sectors in the world in terms of job creation.

This year's networking event -Spring FeverInspired by the Melbourne Cup - Melbourne Spring Festival, which will take place on December 23, 2021 at Sofitel Saigon Plaza with the presence of many experts and leaders in the industry. In addition, AHA Vietnam has partnered with the charity Operation Smile Vietnam to help many children with birth defects have the opportunity to undergo surgery, giving them a better future.

The Australian Hospitality Alumni Network in Vietnam (AHA Vietnam) was established in 2014 by Camellia Dinh, an Australian hospitality alumnus from the Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School, with the aim of building a platform for Australian hospitality graduates and connecting them with relevant information and support for their career opportunities and development.

The Australian Hospitality Alumni Network in Vietnam is currently run by an executive committee comprising board members and staff, industry experts, and community leaders, with the aim of connecting members with future career opportunities, educational support, scholarships, migration services, investment advice, and social projects.
