According to the official announcement, the Taipei (TPE) – Prague (PRG) route will officially commence operations on August 1, 2026. To ensure the highest quality of service for this long-haul transcontinental flight, the airline has decided to operate using the Airbus A350 – the most modern wide-body aircraft currently available.
The Airbus A350 – the next-generation wide-body "super aircraft" – will be put into service by STARLUX Airlines for transcontinental routes to the Czech Republic starting in August 2026.

In the initial phase, from August 1st to September 30th, 2026, the airline will operate Airbus A359 aircraft with a frequency of three flights per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Flight JX101 departs Taipei at 00:10 and lands in Prague at 07:50 local time. In the return flight, JX102 will depart Prague at 10:20 and arrive in Taipei at 05:10 the following morning. This timeframe is considered ideal, allowing passengers ample time to explore Europe immediately upon arrival or start their workday in Taipei efficiently.

Entering the peak season from October 1st to October 24th, 2026, to meet the demand for the golden autumn travel wave in Europe, STARLUX Airlines will increase its frequency to 4 flights per week, adding a flight on Mondays. Notably, the airline will operate Airbus A351 aircraft for most days of the week (except Mondays, when A359s will still be used) to optimize capacity and customer experience. Flight times during this period will also be slightly adjusted to comply with air traffic control regulations, with landing times in Prague at 08:25 and departure times from Prague at 10:45. This flexibility in aircraft deployment and flight frequency demonstrates the airline's thorough preparation for fluctuations in international travel market demand.
