Heart-stopping journey climbing the 'death mountain'

The following journeys are full of constant dangers that await adventurers.

1. Half Dome - Yosemite National Park, USA

The climb is 12km long. The hardest part is the last 100m or so before the finish line, which is made up entirely of smooth granite. It is a challenging and dangerous route. At least 5 people have died while attempting this climb.

2. West Coast Trail - Vancouver, Canada

This is a route of more than 75km that is especially dangerous due to the presence of wild animals such as wolves, bears... However, every year many adventurous tourists come here to conquer this journey with steep slopes and precarious suspension bridges, despite the risk of encountering wild animals and breaking their legs if a small mistake occurs.

3. Journey to conquer Mount Huashan - China

The beautiful temples and scenery at the top of the mountain are worth the dangerous journey. The journey up Huong Son mountain requires everyone to be highly focused because even a small mistake can lead to extremely serious accidents.

4. Rover's Run - Anchorage, Alaska

This road is not dangerous because of the difficult terrain, but mainly because of the presence of many large bears and fierce wolves in the area. The abundant amount of fresh salmon has attracted many bears to hunt here and has also become a danger to those who want to do adventure travel.

5. Devil's Road - Catskill, New York

This 40km route through the Catskill Mountains, 40km from Manhattan, is a wild and difficult journey. Adventurers must overcome 6 main mountains and be very careful of the risk of encountering grizzly bears at any time.

6. Peek-a-boo Gulch - Utah

If you don’t want to walk on narrow paths, Peek-a-boo Gulch is a perfect choice. The cliffs are steep with only a small gap to hold on to and climb. However, this route is not recommended for those with claustrophobia.

7. Kalalau - Kauai, Hawaii Journey

Traveling on a cliff over 1000m high right next to the sea and watching beautiful waterfalls is quite an interesting experience. However, high humidity and waterfalls make the terrain of the route very slippery and dangerous.

8. Conquering Pacaya Volcano - Guatemala

Despite being warned and strictly prohibited by the government because of the danger after a few deaths due to rock slides, many adventurers still find ways to conquer this route. You will be on a journey with molten lava on one side and facing the constant risk of slipping.

9. El Caminito del Rey - Spain

El Caminito del Rey, a steep path on the El Chorro cliff, was built 100 years ago and is considered the most dangerous path in the world. The path is nearly 3km long and those with a fear of heights should never set foot here.
