On March 3, 2018, the Earth Hour 2018 campaign in Vietnam was launched with the slogan “Go More Green – Today I live greener”. Continuing the efforts for sustainable development over the years, Fortuna Hotel Hanoi has carried out “green actions” with the desire to push back climate change, demonstrating the spirit of each individual in the effort to change the current state of global warming with millions of individuals, organizations and governments around the world.

On Saturday, March 24, 2018, we will turn off all the lights in the hotel for one hour starting from 20:30 to 21:30. Guests are also encouraged to turn off unnecessary electrical appliances or dim the lights during the entire time of use, not just for Earth Hour. In the main lobby of the hotel, there will be musical activities and interesting photo contests for guests.
On the same morning, an environmental cycling program will be held at West Lake with the participation of more than 50 hotel staff. Not only does it have a positive meaning, raising awareness of using personal vehicles without affecting the environment, this is also an opportunity to connect feelings, increase solidarity between employees of different departments.
“At Fortuna Hanoi, we are committed to a more sustainable future by conserving natural resources and minimizing our environmental impact,” said Albert Leong, General Manager of the hotel. “Through initiatives like Earth Hour, we recognize that many small individual actions can be powerful catalysts for big change.”
