'Afternoon Tea & Fashion' is organized by the InterContinental Hanoi Westlake hotel and takes place monthly. The program is inspired by the colorful world of fashion, combined with the classic and elegant culture of afternoon tea.
Unlike typical afternoon teas, the pastries served at the InterContinental Hanoi's 'Afternoon Tea & Fashion' party are shaped like modern fashion designs. Guests are surprised by chocolate-covered bags and lipsticks, and cookies printed with elegant evening gowns and high heels. All of these pastries are served with premium Western teas.
The June show presented customers with incredibly eye-catching and luxurious designs from two fashion brands, Wephobia and Chula. Chula's collection focused on using unique details on bold-colored fabrics. In contrast to Chula's elegant outfits, Wephobia showcased menswear-inspired clothing in four main colors: black, white, orange, and light pink. Most notably, the fashion show featured Thuy Anh, the lead actress of the film "Flapping Wings in the Air," and model Mai Giang, the winner of Vietnam's Next Top Model 2012.
