Ecotourism, a new form of tourism in Hoi An, will be introduced to visitors when they come to Cam Thanh village. The tour program, expected to last one day, is designed based on Cam Thanh's existing ecological resources such as the Thanh Dong organic vegetable garden, the rice-growing village, and the Bay Mau mangrove forest. These are considered the three most distinctive ecological values of this peaceful rural area in Quang Nam province.

According to tour developers and operators, the novelty of this model lies in the fact that local residents themselves will become guides, directly introducing these attractions to tourists. At the same time, this is also an opportunity for the people of Cam Thanh to effectively promote their local products to the tourist community.
Visitors will have the opportunity to experience firsthand the daily work of farmers.
During the ecotourism tour, visitors will be guided by farmers to visit vegetable gardens, witness firsthand how vegetables are planted and cared for, and enjoy dishes prepared from freshly harvested produce by the honest and simple farmers themselves. Another interesting aspect of this ecotourism tour is that the people of Cam Thanh will tell visitors stories about their community's participation in environmental protection activities, the conservation of mangrove forests, and the reduction of the use of plastic bags and straws.

Although still in the testing phase, this new ecotourism tour has received much support from travel businesses and tourists. With its diverse natural landscapes, rich ecosystem, and friendly locals, the ecotourism tour to the countryside of Hoi An is hoped to become a new trend, attracting more tourists to Quang Nam province in the future.
