Ecotourism, a new form of tourism in Hoi An, will be introduced to visitors when they come to Cam Thanh village. The tour program is expected to take place in one day, designed based on the existing ecological foundations of Cam Thanh such as Thanh Dong organic vegetable garden, rice village and Bay Mau coconut forest. These are considered the three most typical ecological values of this peaceful countryside of Quang Nam.

According to tour developers and operators, the new point of this model is that the local people themselves will become guides, introducing directly to tourists at these attractions. At the same time, this is also an opportunity for Cam Thanh people to effectively promote local products to the tourist community.

Joining the eco-tour, tourists will be led by farmers to visit vegetable gardens, witness firsthand how to plant and care for vegetables, and enjoy cuisine prepared from newly harvested agricultural products by the simple farmers themselves. Another interesting thing about this eco-tour is that Cam Thanh people tell tourists the story of the community here participating in environmental protection activities, preserving water coconut forests, limiting the use of plastic bags, plastic straws, etc.
