EuroSphere Exhibition: European Lifestyle

15/06/2019

The 3rd EuroSphere European Lifestyle Exhibition is currently taking place at the InterContinental Saigon Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. This is the only European consumer goods and services exhibition in Vietnam, organized by the European-Vietnam Business Network (EVBN), aiming to showcase the elegant and fashionable lifestyle of the "old continent" to the people of the city.

Following the success of the event two years ago, EuroSphere continues its mission of connecting and fostering the exchange of Western European and Asian cultures with an exhibition bringing together over 50 established brands in the food and beverage, fashion, jewelry, cosmetics, perfume, furniture, automotive, education, real estate, and tourism sectors. This is the first year EuroSphere has expanded its scope to include service industries, targeting Vietnamese individuals interested in investing in Europe.

Notably, EuroSphere 2019 will be free to enter for visitors throughout the three days of the exhibition. The exhibition is sponsored by Alila Villas Koh Russey, Amanoi, Cargoteam, Drive Agency, Hoegaarden, HTC, Lys Events, Moet Hennessy, and Pernod Ricard Vietnam. Media support for the event includes Oriental Media, Hanoi Grapevine, and Nhip Cau Dau Tu (Investment Bridge). This is a rare opportunity for people in Ho Chi Minh City to experience "Made in EU" products firsthand, engage in direct dialogue with businesses to learn about services, and most importantly, enjoy a truly European atmosphere right in the heart of the city.

With the growing appeal of Western European culture to Vietnamese youth, the organizers have decided to transform the exhibition into a friendly space with many engaging activities for young people. EuroSphere will feature Vlogger Giang Ơi – one of the top four influential figures on social media today. A former student in the UK, widely known for her straightforward and lively style, Giang Ơi will share her experience of living, studying, and working abroad at EuroSphere, titled "Lost in Europe."

Regarding a new feature of this year's exhibition, Ambassador Bruno Angelet – Head of the European Union Delegation to Vietnam – stated: “We hope EuroSphere 2019 will provide the most authentic European experience for Vietnamese consumers seeking higher quality products for their lives. The free admission to EuroSphere also encourages exhibitors to find more customers and partners.” He added, “With the upcoming signing of the EU-Vietnam Trade Agreement, the opportunities opened up by EuroSphere will become a solid foundation for businesses on both sides.”

Ms. Mayte Pernas, EVBN Project Director, shared: “The activities throughout the exhibition are an unmissable part. We strive to bring exciting changes over the years, not only through thematic seminars on investment and education, but also virtual reality experience booths, facial skincare consultations from French experts, or enjoying free Hoegaarden beer during happy hour. EuroSphere will not only be a business bridge between EU and Vietnamese businesses, but also a highly anticipated annual destination for Vietnamese consumers.”
