When autumn comes, people often think of romantic fairytale weddings with delicious parties and a warm sweet holiday. We also went to the North in late autumn to experience such wonderful things. After a perfect wedding, the only thing we need to do is to enjoy the wonderful time in the first days of our married life.
The bus departs from Hanoi and takes about 2 hours to reach Got wharf. To explore Lan Ha Bay and enjoy the feeling of floating on the sea, we chose Calypso as the cruise ship to travel on our journey. After boarding the ship, the first thing we did was to enjoy a varied and beautifully decorated meal.
Waking up early the next morning, it felt so strange to find myself drifting on the sea. The sweet scent of candles mixed with the scent of fresh flowers spread in the bedroom, creating an extremely relaxing feeling. On the corner of the table were two glasses of red wine displayed with fruit, a chocolate-covered cake with the sweet words "Happy Honeymoon" next to two candles with a warm, soft yellow light. Opening the large balcony door, the cool breeze rushed in with the gentle rays of sunlight, making our hearts extremely relaxed. I absentmindedly looked at the girl I loved, feeling like I was the happiest man in the world.
After an early morning sunrise, we chose to sunbathe on the yacht’s terrace and take part in a Tai Chi class before breakfast. A visit to the Military Hospital Cave – a Vietnamese field hospital during the anti-American war was the first activity of the day. Soon after, we set foot on the Bright and Dark Caves, a famous place with a cave vault sparkling with dew drops still lingering on it. Beyond the cave is a valley in the middle of the sea surrounded by limestone mountains.
Not only were we fascinated by the charming beauty of Lan Ha, we were also attracted by the fascinating experiences during the journey with Calypso cruise. We chose to kayak to explore the mysteries and enjoy our private space as a couple.
Ending a long day with many activities is also the time when the sun begins to set. Looking at Lan Ha Bay covered in purple in the late afternoon, we feel the breath of love blending into the natural scenery, clouds, water, trees and grass here. Everything seems to be immersed in a space of harmony, romance and happiness. After dinner, everyone sang karaoke together, played games and participated in night squid fishing.
The journey ended after 2 days and 1 night at sea. Lan Ha Bay is so beautiful, the honeymoon is so memorable! This time is not too long but very meaningful to my wife and I. After returning to Hanoi, my heart is still filled with the wonderful scent of the ocean. The sweet feelings of the honeymoon are still there, I told myself that one day I will bring my wife back to fully enjoy the wonderful things in the journey to explore Lan Ha Bay on the Calypso cruise.
