Some places tourists should not miss when visiting this beautiful and peaceful mountain town:
Dray Nur - Dray Sap Waterfall Cluster
About 30km from the city center following Highway 14 to Dak Nong, you will be amazed by the poetic beauty of Dray Nur waterfall (also known as Wife Waterfall). The waterfall is 250m long and over 30m high, with white foam all year round, creating a beautiful landscape. A suspension bridge over the Serepok River is Dray Sap waterfall (Husband Waterfall), which is just as majestic as Dray Nur.

In addition to sightseeing and taking photos, visitors will hear the locals tell the legend of the passionate love between Dam San and H'Bia Diet Kluc, which is associated with the origin of the two waterfalls above. Visitors can also visit Gia Long waterfall, Trinh Nu waterfall... with their own beauty and ancient stories.
Dak Lak Museum
Dak Lak Ethnological Museum is the destination of most tourists when coming to Buon Ma Thuot. Located on Le Duan Street - considered the most beautiful street here - the museum has an architectural style imbued with the traditional features of the Central Highlands.
This place displays more than 1,000 valuable artifacts and images of flora and fauna, industrial crops, and the culture of ethnic groups living in Dak Lak in 4 languages: English, Vietnamese, French, and Ede. Dak Lak Museum is truly a destination that brings many surprises to visitors, especially those who love Central Highlands culture.
Buon Don Tourist Area
Not only is Buon Ma Thuot the "capital of Vietnamese coffee", it also has the largest elephant training school in Vietnam. Located about 50km from the center, Buon Don tourist area is known for its legend of hunting and taming wild elephants, tourist activities in the village, traditional longhouses of the Ede people, suspension bridges, tombs of elephant hunting kings...

Tourists only spend about 100,000 - 150,000 VND (depending on the time) to sit on the back of giant elephants to roam. You can also easily buy yourself typical items such as: Ama Kong specialties, lucky elephant hair rings... at affordable prices.
Victory Monument
Another must-see is the Victory Monument, located in the center of the 6-way intersection. The monument is considered a symbol of the city, likened to the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France. The highlight here is the steel tank number 980 - the vehicle that opened the historic battle of the Vietnamese army into the city.
Troh Bu Wild Orchid Conservation Garden

About 10km from the city center, Troh Bu is considered the first and only eco-tourism farm of Buon Don. Here you will always have the feeling of returning to your own dream garden with outdoor activities, playing, learning and researching more than 200 species of wild orchids, natural forest trees, wildflowers... Visitors can also admire and explore unique cultural artifacts of the Central Highlands. A special feature is that visitors from all over the world when coming to Troh Bu will receive free entrance tickets, and service prices are also very reasonable.
