The announcement ceremony took place solemnly on the beachfront in front of the À la carte hotel within the FLC Sam Son complex, with the participation of Mr. Ha Hung Cuong - Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Minister of Justice; Mr. To Quang Thu - Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Committee; Mr. Nguyen The Ky - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department; Mr. Le Thanh Long - Deputy Minister of Justice; Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan - Director General of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism; Mr. Trinh Van Chien - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council of Thanh Hoa; Mr. Pham Dang Quyen, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province; along with leaders of central and local agencies and departments, tourists staying at FLC Sam Son, and a large number of people from Sam Son town, Thanh Hoa province.
5-star resorts are changing the image of tourism in Thanh Hoa province.
“This is a recognition of the tremendous efforts of FLC Group, not only in completing the project ahead of schedule on an area of over 200 hectares with many synchronized items, but also in the meticulous attention to detail to deliver perfect products and services,” said Ms. Huong Tran Kieu Dung, General Director of FLC Group - the investor of FLC Sam Son Eco-tourism Resort Complex - at the ceremony.
Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan, Director General of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, presented the Certificate of 5-Star Standard for FLC Sam Son Complex to Mr. Le Thanh Vinh, Vice Chairman of FLC Group and Chairman of FLC Samson Golf & Resort Co., Ltd.
When the FLC Sam Son complex opened in July 2015, FLC was dubbed "the miracle worker" by the people of Thanh Hoa and the media. And with its 5-star certification, FLC has proven that the Group is not only incredibly fast in construction but also professional in management and operation.
Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the Thanh Hoa provincial leadership, Mr. Pham Dang Quyen, Vice Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, remarked: "The FLC Sam Son ecological resort complex has demonstrated professionalism, uniformity, and modernity, fully meeting the stringent criteria of an international 5-star rating."
Mr. Quyen emphasized that this is the first 5-star hotel among more than 600 accommodation establishments in Thanh Hoa province, becoming a shining example in providing high-quality tourism services and contributing significantly to the success of many national and international events, including the 2015 National Tourism Year in Thanh Hoa.
Mr. Thang Van Phuc – Former Deputy Minister of the Interior; Chairman of the Vietnam Record Holders Association, presented the certificate for "Resort with the most swimming pools in Vietnam" to Mr. Richard Adrian Mehr - General Manager of FLC Sam Son Eco-Resort Complex.
"The announcement by the Vietnam National Tourism Administration and the awarding of the 5-star rating to the FLC Sam Son Complex is not only a source of joy for the FLC Group but also a shared joy for the people of Thanh Hoa," Mr. Quyen said.
To maximize investment efficiency and maintain the 5-star rating recognized by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, the Vice Chairman of Thanh Hoa province suggested that FLC Group should closely coordinate with relevant agencies and localities in the province to strengthen market promotion and advertising to attract tourists, while also promoting the development of Thanh Hoa's tourism products and brand. The Thanh Hoa leadership also requested that FLC Group continue to invest in the province in areas where the Group has strengths. Thanh Hoa province will always stand by and support the enterprise.
Fireworks celebrate FLC Sam Son officially receiving the 5-star rating.
Commenting on the official recognition of the FLC Sam Son Eco-tourism Resort Complex as a 5-star international standard resort, Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan, Director General of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, affirmed that this is a particularly significant event for the development of Thanh Hoa's tourism industry, defining and confirming new milestones, and positioning Sam Son's image and place on the Vietnamese tourism map.
According to Mr. Tuan, Sam Son has now officially become a high-quality destination, changing its image from a budget-friendly, seasonal tourist destination. This event also brings new values to the Thanh Hoa National Tourism Year 2015, affirming the efforts of Thanh Hoa province in building an environment and policies to attract investment, and confirming the role and driving force of businesses in tourism development.
“This project demonstrates the investor's tremendous efforts in terms of project scale, product diversity, construction progress, and commitment to project implementation. The completion and operation of the project contributes to the realization of Vietnam's tourism development strategy until 2020, with a vision to 2030, approved by the Prime Minister, which focuses on key tourism development, prioritizing quality, efficiency, branding, and competitiveness,” Mr. Tuan emphasized.
Setting 2 Vietnamese records
At the ceremony announcing FLC Sam Son Eco-Tourism Resort's 5-star rating, the Vietnam Record Organization officially recognized FLC Sam Son for setting two records: "The resort with the largest saltwater swimming pool in Vietnam" and "The resort with the most swimming pools in Vietnam". These records were awarded to the 5,100 m2 saltwater swimming pool located in front of the À la carte hotel and the 152 swimming pools of various sizes, both indoor and outdoor, within the resort complex.
The ceremony took place beside Vietnam's largest saltwater swimming pool within the grounds of the À la carte Sam Son hotel, witnessed by a large number of tourists and local residents.
Speaking after receiving the record certificates, Mr. Richard Adrian Mehr - General Manager of FLC Sam Son Eco-tourism Resort Complex - said that in addition to these two records, the complex has many other interesting things for tourists to experience. He also pledged to ensure the quality of all services here, making FLC Sam Son one of the best-serviced tourism complexes in Vietnam.
The FLC Sam Son eco-tourism resort complex is likened to a symphony of life, harmoniously combining the melodies of nature, elegant architecture, perfect service, and friendly human connection. Since its opening, the complex has welcomed tens of thousands of domestic and international tourists. It has also hosted many major cultural and sporting events such as the 2015 Sao Mai Finals, the 2015 Autumn Economic Forum, the Vietnamese Folk Song Program, and the Top 6 Vietnamese Tennis Players Tournament...
