5-star resort changes the image of Thanh tourism
“This is a recognition of the tremendous efforts of FLC Group not only in completing the project ahead of schedule on an area of over 200 hectares with many synchronous items, but also in the meticulousness and sophistication to every detail to bring perfect products and services”, Ms. Huong Tran Kieu Dung, General Director of FLC Group - Investor of FLC Sam Son Eco-tourism Resort Complex - said at the ceremony.
Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan, General Director of the General Department of Tourism, awarded the Certificate of 5-star FLC Sam Son Complex to Mr. Le Thanh Vinh, Vice Chairman of FLC Group, Chairman of FLC Samson Golf & Resort Company Limited.
When FLC Sam Son Complex was put into operation in July 2015, FLC was given the title of “genie” by Thanh Hoa people and the media. And by being recognized as meeting 5-star standards, FLC has proven that the Group is not only fast in construction, but also professional in management and operation.
Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the leaders of Thanh Hoa province, Mr. Pham Dang Quyen, Vice Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee commented: "FLC Sam Son eco-tourism resort complex has demonstrated professionalism, synchronization and modernity, fully meeting the strict criteria of international 5-star class".
Mr. Quyen emphasized that this is the first 5-star hotel among more than 600 accommodation establishments in Thanh Hoa province, becoming a bright spot in providing high-quality tourism services, contributing significantly to the success of many national and international events, including the National Tourism Year 2015 in Thanh Hoa.

“The announcement of the decision and the 5-star rating of the FLC Sam Son Complex by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism is not only a personal joy for FLC Group but also a common excitement for the people of Thanh Hoa,” said Mr. Quyen.
To promote investment efficiency and maintain the 5-star rating recognized by the General Department of Tourism, the Vice Chairman of Thanh Hoa suggested that FLC Group should closely coordinate with relevant agencies and localities of the Province to strengthen market promotion, advertise to attract visitors, and at the same time promote the development of Thanh Hoa tourism products and brands. Thanh Hoa leaders also suggested that in the coming time, FLC Group continue to invest in the Province in areas where the Group has strengths. Thanh Hoa Province will always stand side by side with Enterprises.
Fireworks to celebrate FLC Sam Son officially being awarded the 5* sign
Commenting on the official recognition of FLC Sam Son Eco-tourism Resort Complex to 5-star international standards, Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan, General Director of the General Department of Tourism, affirmed that this is an event of special significance for the development of Thanh Hoa tourism industry, identifying and affirming new marks, positioning the image and position of Sam Son on the Vietnam tourism map.
According to Mr. Tuan, from now on, Sam Son has officially become a high-quality destination, changing the image of a popular, seasonal tourist destination in the past. This event also brings new values to the Thanh Hoa National Tourism Year 2015, affirming the efforts to build the environment and investment attraction policies of Thanh Hoa province, affirming the role and motivation of enterprises in tourism development.
“This project demonstrates the great efforts of the investor in terms of project scale, product diversity, construction progress and commitment to project implementation. The project has been completed and put into operation, contributing to the implementation of the Vietnam tourism development strategy to 2020, with a vision to 2030 approved by the Prime Minister, which is to develop tourism with focus, key points, associated with quality, efficiency, brand and competitiveness,” Mr. Tuan emphasized.
Set 2 Vietnamese records
At the ceremony to announce the 5-star standard for FLC Sam Son Eco-tourism Resort, the Vietnam Record Organization also officially recognized FLC Sam Son as setting 2 records: "Resort with the largest saltwater swimming pool in Vietnam" and "Resort with the most swimming pools in Vietnam". These records are for the 5,100 m2 saltwater swimming pool located in front of the À la carte hotel and the number of 152 large and small swimming pools, indoor and outdoor located in the Complex.
The ceremony took place next to the largest saltwater swimming pool in Vietnam in the heart of the À la carte Sam Son hotel, witnessed by many tourists and local people.
Speaking after receiving the record certificates, Mr. Richard Adrian Mehr - General Manager of FLC Sam Son Eco-tourism Resort Complex said that in addition to these two records, the Complex has many interesting things that visitors can experience.
