This remote beach can only be reached by sea or air. Whitehaven is the ideal destination for families looking for a relaxing holiday, with beautiful camping spots and vast open spaces.
3. El Nido, Philippines


El Nido on the Philippine island of Palawan comes in at number three. Its coastline, fringed by steep cliffs and lush palm trees, scores highly for its pristine beauty and water quality.

4. Praia do Sancho, Brazil
Deep in the small archipelago of Fernando de Noronha, about an hour from the coast of Brazil, the remote beach of Praia do Sancho is chosen to be ranked number 4. The beach is difficult to access but when you arrive, you will be mesmerized by the golden sand and blue water.

5. Tulum, Mexico

Coming in at number five on the list is Tulum Beach in Mexico, described as “a peaceful getaway” with white sand and crystal clear waters.
6. Grace, Turks and Caicos
Located on the Caribbean coast, with crystal clear water and soft white sand, Grace Bay Beach in the Turks and Caicos Islands was honored to be in the list of 10 most beautiful beaches in the world in 2018.

“Turks and Caicos is a beach lover’s dream,” said a Telegraph Travel expert. “Outstanding beauty, powder-white sands surrounded by a mesmerizing turquoise ocean, miles of coastline that seem to belong to you alone.”
7. Seven Mile, Caribbean

Coming in at number seven is Seven Mile Beach on the Cayman Islands, a British overseas territory in the Caribbean Sea. Seven Mile is located very close to the island’s capital, George Town. As travel blogger Nicolette Orlemans once said: “Just walking on the white sand will make all your sorrows melt away.”
8. Anse Source d'Argent, Seychelles

Anse Source d'Argent Beach in Seychelles comes in at number 8. The beach is famous for its natural cliffs, quality of sand, clear blue water and amazing natural scenery.
9. Maya, Thailand

Maya Beach, a paradise on the island of Koh Phi Phi, is famous for its unique natural coral reefs, perfect water quality and fine sand. However, in recent times, tourists have damaged the coral reefs. Thai authorities have been forced to close the local tourism service, hoping that the temporary closure will help the natural ecosystem recover.
10. Varadero, Cuba

Coming in at number 10 is Varadero Beach in Cuba. Varadero was chosen for its powdery white sand and clear blue waters.
