Without a tight schedule or a well-prepared plan, Truong Tran Nhu Y, a 27-year-old girl working in marketing, had a trip to Nha Trang full of surprises and emotions. With a heart full of love for discovery and a passion for freedom, her journey brought experiences that anyone would want to try once in their life.
Tran Phu Beach stretches out, ideal for leisurely afternoons.
“What I like most about Nha Trang is Tran Phu beach, which stretches right in the heart of the city. Just choose a hotel with large windows facing the sea, and you can wake up early in the morning to see the sunrise right from your room,” Nhu Y shared.
Without rushing to make detailed plans, she and her colleague decided to pack their bags and leave as soon as the weekend work was over. They chose a place to stay in the city center so they could easily enjoy the cool water and fresh sea air just a few steps away.
Majestic scenery at Hang Heo, a wild and enchanting destination of Nha Trang
On her return to Nha Trang, Nhu Y decided to explore Hang Heo - a place that is not very popular but brings indescribable surprise. “The scenery here is very majestic. The rocks with all shapes, sometimes sharp, sometimes smooth, make me feel like I am lost in a pristine natural picture, separate from the modern city,” she recounted.
The road to Hang Heo is not too far, but the feeling of standing in the middle of vast nature, listening to the sound of waves and cool wind makes all fatigue seem to disappear.

When talking about Nha Trang cuisine, Nhu Y cannot help but mention Lac Canh grilled beef restaurant - a place that has become a "tradition" in every trip of hers. "I joked with my colleague that I would take her to a 'fairyland', and it was true, the smoke from the grills created a hazy scene like a fairyland. The beef here is delicious, flavorful and fragrant", she excitedly shared.
In addition, Nhu Y could not miss Nha Trang noodle soup - a dish she enjoyed all three days. "This dish is simple but delicious, very suitable to start a new day in the coastal city", she added.
Peaceful moments on Luong Son pass
On the way to Hang Heo, Luong Son Pass was the place that made Nhu Y stop the car to admire the scenery. “Blue sea, white sand, mountains - the scene before my eyes was so overwhelming that I could pass by. I had to stop the car and sit there to enjoy this scene”, she recalled.
As a Catholic, Nhu Y never forgets to visit the Stone Church on Sunday mornings. With its distinctive Gothic architecture and solemn atmosphere, the church offers her moments of peace amidst her busy journey. “I think even non-religious people should stop by to admire the beauty of this place, but don’t forget to dress politely,” she suggested.

Beautiful and peaceful Nha Trang will be a memorable destination on your journey.
One of the things that made Nhu Y love Nha Trang was the friendliness of the local people. From the hotel security guard who enthusiastically showed her where to eat cheaply and deliciously to the people who were willing to help her when she had a small problem, all of them created a special closeness that was hard to find anywhere else.
If you only have 3 days and 2 nights in Nha Trang, Nhu Y recommends taking a leisurely walk on Tran Phu beach, visiting the Institute of Oceanography - where there are countless beautiful photo angles and the entrance fee is only 40,000 VND, and enjoying specialties such as Lac Canh grilled beef, banh canh or vermicelli with fish cakes.
For those who love freedom and want to feel the natural beauty of Nha Trang, Nhu Y's journey is a perfect suggestion.
“Don’t try to cram a schedule, enjoy every moment the way you do. Sometimes being spontaneous will bring unexpected experiences,” Nhu Y said.
For those who love freedom and want to feel the natural beauty of Nha Trang, Nhu Y's journey is a perfect suggestion. It is not just a trip, but also a way to connect with nature, people and yourself.
