Without a packed schedule or meticulous planning, Truong Tran Nhu Y, a 27-year-old marketing professional, had a surprisingly fulfilling and emotional trip to Nha Trang. With a heart full of exploration and a passion for freedom, her journey provided experiences that anyone would want to try at least once in their lifetime.
Tran Phu beach stretches out, ideal for leisurely afternoons.
“What I love most about Nha Trang is the long stretch of Tran Phu beach right in the heart of the city. Just choose a hotel with large windows facing the sea, and you can wake up early in the morning to watch the sunrise right from your room,” Nhu Y shared.
Without rushing to make detailed plans, she and her colleague decided to pack their bags and leave as soon as their weekend work was over. They chose accommodation right in the city center so they could easily enjoy the cool water and fresh sea air with just a few steps.
The majestic scenery at Hang Heo, a captivating and unspoiled destination in Nha Trang.
During this return trip to Nha Trang, Nhu Y decided to explore Hang Heo (Pig Cave) – a not-so-popular destination but one that offered an indescribable sense of wonder. “The scenery here is magnificent. The rocks, in all shapes and sizes, sometimes sharp, sometimes smooth, made me feel like I was lost in a pristine natural landscape, isolated from the modern city,” she recounted.
The road to Hang Heo (Pig Cave) isn't too far, but the feeling of standing amidst vast nature, listening to the sound of waves and feeling the cool breeze makes all fatigue seem to disappear.

When talking about Nha Trang cuisine, Nhu Y can't help but mention Lac Canh grilled beef restaurant – a place that has become a "tradition" on every trip she takes. "I joked with my colleague that I would take her to 'fairyland,' and it was true; the smoke from the grills created a hazy, ethereal atmosphere like a magical place. The beef here is delicious, perfectly seasoned, and incredibly fragrant," she excitedly shared.
In addition, Nhu Y couldn't miss Nha Trang's banh canh (rice noodle soup) - a dish she enjoyed for all three days. "This dish is simple yet delicious, perfect for starting a new day in this seaside city," she added.
A peaceful moment on Luong Son Pass
During her journey to Hang Heo, Luong Son Pass was the place where Nhu Y had to stop her car to admire the scenery. “The blue sea, white sand, and majestic mountains – the view before me was so breathtaking that I couldn’t just drive past. I had to stop the car and sit perched on the hill to enjoy the view,” she recalled.
As a Catholic, Nhu Y never forgets to visit the Stone Church on Sunday mornings. With its distinctive Gothic architecture and solemn atmosphere, the church offers her moments of peace amidst her busy schedule. “I think even those who aren’t religious should visit to admire its beauty, but don’t forget to dress respectfully,” she suggests.

Beautiful and peaceful Nha Trang will be a memorable destination on your trip.
One of the things that made Nhu Y love Nha Trang was the friendliness of the local people. From the enthusiastic hotel security guard who pointed out delicious and affordable places to eat to those who were always ready to help when she encountered minor problems, all of this created a special sense of closeness that is hard to find anywhere else.
If you only have 3 days and 2 nights in Nha Trang, Nhu Y recommends taking a leisurely stroll on Tran Phu beach, visiting the Oceanographic Institute - which has countless beautiful photo spots and an entrance fee of only 40,000 VND, and enjoying local specialties such as Lac Canh grilled beef, banh canh (rice noodle soup), or fish cake noodle soup.
For those who love freedom and want to experience the natural beauty of Nha Trang, Nhu Y's tour is the perfect suggestion.
"Don't try to cram your schedule into anything; enjoy each moment the way you've always done. Sometimes, being spontaneous brings unexpected experiences," Nhu Y said.
For those who love freedom and want to experience the natural beauty of Nha Trang, Nhu Y's journey is the perfect suggestion. It's not just a trip, but also a way to connect with nature, people, and yourself.
