The organizers said so at the second press conference of this event on the afternoon of March 13 in Hanoi.
Participating in the fair, there are nearly 700 businesses from both domestic and international countries such as Korea, Japan, France, UK, Germany, Australia... With the theme of online tourism, this year's fair will bring customers many choices of tourism products and services through high-tech applications.
According to Mr. Vu The Binh, Permanent Vice President of Vietnam Tourism Association, online tourism is identified as an inevitable and important trend in tourism business, therefore the organizing committee of VITM Hanoi 2018 has chosen "Online tourism, Vietnam tourism towards the 4.0 industrial revolution" as the theme of this year's fair.
Mr. Binh said that, along with tourism stimulus programs serving the public, VITM Hanoi 2018 focuses on 14 specialized activities such as seminars, talks, press conferences, exchanges, etc.
The fair takes place from March 29 to April 1 at the Hanoi Friendship Cultural Palace.
