The organizers announced this during the second press conference for the event, held on the afternoon of March 13th in Hanoi.
Nearly 700 businesses from both domestic and international sources, including South Korea, Japan, France, the UK, Germany, and Australia, participated in the fair. With the theme of online tourism, this year's fair will offer customers a wide range of tourism products and services through the application of advanced technology.
According to Mr. Vu The Binh, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Tourism Association, online tourism is identified as an inevitable and important trend in the tourism business. Therefore, the organizers of VITM Hanoi 2018 have chosen "Online Tourism, Vietnamese Tourism Towards the 4.0 Industrial Revolution" as the theme of this year's fair.
Mr. Binh said that, along with tourism stimulus programs for the public, VITM Hanoi 2018 focuses on 14 specialized activities including seminars, forums, press conferences, and networking events…
The fair will take place from March 29th to April 1st at the Hanoi Friendship Cultural Palace.
