Tra Su Melaleuca Forest
The Southwest region has many beautiful cajuput forests, but Tra Su always holds the number 1 position with its pure and peaceful beauty. This forest is located in Van Gao commune, Tinh Bien district, about 60 km from Long Xuyen city center.
The total area of Tra Su Melaleuca forest is 845 hectares. This flooded forest is a large ecosystem, a "common home" for many rare species of birds, storks, and fish. Tan Lap Melaleuca Forest
Tan Lap Melaleuca Forest is located in Tan Lap Commune, Moc Hoa District, about 100 km from the center of Saigon. You can take a bus or motorbike to explore more of the beautiful scenery of the West.
The forest has an area of 135 hectares in the core zone and 500 hectares in the buffer zone. The highlight of Tra Su is the 5 km long road through the forest, which has a mysterious and magical beauty. However, the scenery is also very fresh and open.
As one of the largest cajuput forests in the West, Tan Lap cajuput forest plays an important role as a biological conservation area. Xeo Quyt eco-tourism area is located in My Hiep and My Long communes, Cao Lanh district, Dong Thap province. Previously, Xeo Quyt was a revolutionary base during the resistance war against the US. The entire Xeo Quyt area has an area of about 50 hectares, including about 20 hectares of primeval green cajuput forest. Today, Xeo Quyt is a place to preserve the ancient cajuput forest ecosystem, many rare plants and animals.
Exploring the cajuput forest, visitors can also take a sampan or sampan between the canals, immersing themselves in the cool, fresh and green space. Gao Giong Melaleuca Forest
Gao Giong Eco-tourism Area is located in Van Gao Commune, Gao Giong District. With a cool green space and well-planned, this eco-tourism area is visited by many tourists when traveling to Dong Thap.
Gao Giong Ecological Area has a total area of 36 hectares, divided into 4 large areas. This is a place with a dense, long-standing cajuput forest system.
