Unnecessary waste is a significant concern in the tourism industry, especially with the rapid consumption of single-use plastic products. Recognizing this issue, several hotels and resorts have implemented changes to reduce their negative environmental impact. Below are some of the highest-rated hotels for their efforts in promoting a greener lifestyle.

This campaign began at the EDITION hotel in Miami Beach. EDITION not only eliminated single-use plastic straws, bottles, cups, lids, and other items from its hotels, but also offered cost-effective alternatives for any environmentally conscious hotel.
