Currently, seven countries have lifted border restrictions, welcoming vaccinated travelers without requiring quarantine.

Cyprus

In December 2020, the country became the first destination to announce plans to allow fully vaccinated travelers to enter without quarantine. Those who had received two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine would not need to provide a negative test result.

Poland

Tourists from European Union countries can visit this country without undergoing the mandatory 10-day quarantine if they have been vaccinated since December 28, 2020.

Those who have not been vaccinated must present a negative PCR test result, taken within 72 hours before entry, and will be required to undergo a second test at their own expense.

Romania

This policy has been in effect in the country since January 18th. The new regulation, implemented by the European National Emergency Committee (CNSU), stipulates that travelers and citizens entering the country must prove they have received two doses of the vaccine.

The second dose must be administered at least 10 days before arrival to avoid mandatory quarantine. Those who submit a negative PCR test, taken within 72 hours of entry, must quarantine for 10 days.

Iceland

From May 1st, vaccinated travelers from European Union countries will be exempt from quarantine and will not need to submit a negative PCR test upon entry into Iceland. Iceland also plans to issue online vaccination certificates to its citizens, facilitating their travel to other countries around the world.
