With the approval of the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province and under the guidance of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan, Thien Minh Group and Victoria Phan Thiet Resort & Spa are jointly organizing the Mui Ne Dunes Marathon - the first national-level running race to be held here.

Besides being a unique sporting and tourism event aimed at attracting visitors to Binh Thuan, the organizers also emphasize the humanitarian significance of the Mui Ne Dunes Marathon. With the message "Run for Central Vietnam," all proceeds from the race will be donated to the Song Foundation's Flood Relief House program to support people in Central Vietnam affected by the floods in 2020.

Nearly 400 professional and amateur athletes from across the country and foreign tourists participated in the race, competing in distances of 5 km, 10 km, and 21 km, starting from Victoria Phan Thiet - a resort with a 450-meter-long white sand beach and 7 hectares of lush tropical gardens.
The participating athletes strode along the beautiful roads of Mui Ne City, especially those with many uphill and downhill sections, making it one of the most challenging and worthwhile races to experience.

In the context of most international races being postponed or canceled, the successful organization of the Mui Ne Dunes Marathon is of particular significance in stimulating tourism and attracting visitors to Binh Thuan, and the race also highlights the spirit of mutual support and solidarity among Vietnamese people.
