First cruise ship with Covid-19 testing room

25/11/2020

Recently, Viking Cruises announced the completion of a PCR room on board and became the first cruise ship to have a Covid-19 testing room.

The cruise industry has been forced to quickly adapt to major changes and challenges due to the spread of Covid-19 this year. The latest example is Viking Cruises, the first company to announce onboard Covid-19 testing. According to Viking, the test on the ocean liner can accommodate 930 guests with non-invasive testing.

Có thể những hàng ghế dài tại bể bơi sang trọng sẽ trở thành ghế chờ xét nghiệm trong thời gian tới.

Maybe the lounge chairs at the luxury swimming pool will become test waiting chairs in the near future.

“We have been working on this for months and today is a very important day. Continuous PCR testing, along with our onboard cleaning protocols, will help Viking move one step closer to operating cruises again without compromising the safety of our passengers and crew,” Matt Grimes, Vice President of Marine Operations at Viking, said on the day the lab was announced.
