UK travel searches spike after successful Covid-19 vaccine trial

After Pfizer, Moderna and BioNTech officially announced that their vaccines achieved clinical trial effectiveness of over 90%, the number of searches for next year's holidays in the UK immediately increased to a record high.

According to Skyscanner, the number of travel searches in the UK has increased by 48% in the week since the above vaccine announcements. The most interested trips are mainly concentrated between early April and August 2021. Of which, 80% of travelers are interested in long-term international trips. This shows that travelers are very excited and optimistic that the epidemic situation will be completely controlled next year.
