At 6:00 p.m. on August 8 (Vietnam time), the Closing Ceremony of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games officially took place. After two weeks of competition with moments of excitement and tears of regret, the Olympics left unforgettable impressions in the hearts of fans.
Due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the closing ceremony was simplified and the number of attendees was reduced, as many sports delegations had returned home after competing. The closing ceremony lasted more than two hours.
With the theme Worlds We Share, the Organizing Committee wants to reflect the Olympic spirit and express the idea that each of us lives in our own world, we will share that to reconnect and overcome difficulties together.
