Bac Ha is organizing the 2023 White Plateau Autumn Festival with the theme "Autumn Colors of the Plateau".

According to the plan, the 2023 Bac Ha White Plateau Autumn Festival will feature many attractive activities such as:

The Khao Quan Festival at Trung Do Temple and the opening of the 2023 Autumn Festival will be held on August 25-26, 2023 (corresponding to the 10th-11th day of the 7th lunar month of the Year of the Rabbit) at the Trung Do Temple National Historical and Cultural Monument, Trung Do village, Bao Nhai commune, featuring a variety of cultural, artistic, and sporting activities.

The ceremony to announce the Vietnamese heritage tree (ancient Shan Tuyet tea cluster) will take place at 8:00 AM on September 2nd, 2023 in Hoang Thu Pho commune.

The 2nd Bac Ha Comprehensive Sports Tourism Tournament will be held from September 1-2, 2023 in Bac Ha district, featuring the following events: Northwest Mountain Marathon - Lao Cai 2023; "Discover the White Plateau of Bac Ha 2023" charity run; Triathalon (combining running, cycling, and kayaking); and the Bac H'Adventure sports tourism program.

The "Highland Green Rice Flake Festival" will be held over two days, September 23-24, 2023, at the two-story building of the Bac Ha Cultural Market. The festival will feature demonstrations of traditional green rice flake making and competitions in preparing dishes made from green rice flakes.

The Mid-Autumn Festival lantern procession along the streets of Bac Ha town and a competition for the most beautiful food platter among the teams will be held on the Mid-Autumn Festival, September 29, 2023 (August 15, Year of the Rabbit).

Tourists and locals will have the opportunity to experience tea-making competitions, tell tea-related stories, enjoy tea, and admire the golden rice terraces in Ban Lien commune on October 7, 2023.

The 2023 Bac Ha White Plateau Autumn Festival was organized to celebrate the 78th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2023) and the 73rd anniversary of the liberation of Bac Ha (September 20, 1950 - September 20, 2023). Through the Festival, Bac Ha district expects to welcome 30,000 tourists to visit and experience the area.

Since the beginning of the year, the People's Committee of Bac Ha district has organized the Bac Ha White Plateau Spring Festival with the theme "Colors of the Plateau" from February 10-12, 2023; and the Bac Ha White Plateau Summer Festival with the theme "Dances of the Plateau" from June 3-11, 2023, welcoming approximately 63,000 visitors.
