Accordingly, the welcoming of tourists is divided into two phases. Phase 1 runs from October 20th to December 25th, encompassing hotels with 3-5 star or equivalent ratings, travel services, and tourist attractions that meet safety criteria as recognized by the Provincial People's Committee. The pilot program is primarily concentrated in Phan Thiet City, while districts and towns may consider opening pilot programs depending on local conditions. Phase 2 will begin after evaluating and summarizing the pilot implementation, and will consider expanding to other eligible units and establishments throughout the province.
The criteria for evaluating the level of safety in epidemic prevention and control in Binh Thuan province are being urgently developed. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan province will guide hotels in preparing registration documents to participate in the pilot plan for receiving guests; at the same time, it will issue written recommendations on how to rectify shortcomings for units that do not meet the requirements.
Binh Thuan province is currently administering full doses of vaccines to tourism industry staff (initially all workers at hotels and tourist attractions recognized by the province), and developing routes for transporting and serving guests at accommodation facilities and tourist attractions to ensure the safety of residents and tourists.
