The Binh Quoi - Thanh Da urban area project, spanning 450 hectares, is located in Ward 28, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City. According to the plan, this peninsula, covering over 450 hectares, will be one of the city's "lungs," featuring large green spaces, low building density, and a population of approximately 41,500. The area is intended to function as an ecological urban area, a tourist resort, a commercial center, and a new knowledge and technology hub for the city. Simultaneously, the city has also approved the construction of two bridges connecting Thanh Da with District 2 (at the Thao Dien area and the Rach Chiec intersection).

One of Bitexco's urban development projects.
Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Le Hoang Quan, has instructed the Department of Planning and Architecture to work with the investor on preparing a plan to adjust the zoning plan based on the approved plan. The Department of Finance must focus on appraising compensation dossiers for approximately 3,000 affected households.
