A fire broke out in the Sung Sot Cave area in Ha Long Bay around late afternoon on September 27th. All the tourists were visiting the island at the time, so there were no casualties.

At approximately 4 PM on September 27th, a fire broke out on the Yen Ngoc 02 accommodation vessel, registration number QN-6138, belonging to the Yen Ngoc Hotel private enterprise, while it was anchored in the Sung Sot Cave area of ​​Ha Long Bay.

The fire broke out from the stern of the ship.

Upon receiving the report, the fire department dispatched a fire-fighting vessel and two rescue boats to the scene, in coordination with a vessel from the Ha Long Bay Management Board, to begin firefighting operations.

By 5 PM the same day, the fire was brought under control, and firefighters continued to spray water to cool the area and prevent a resurgence of the flames.

According to the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee, at the time of the fire, all tourists and crew members were visiting Sung Sot Cave, so there were no casualties.
