Famous as a tourist, culinary and shopping paradise in Asia, the "golden temple" Thailand not only has many typical dishes but is also home to cafes that impress with their unique creativity. Different from the familiar cafes on buses, the space to enjoy drinks inside "retired" airplanes in Thailand has recently attracted the attention of the tourism community, especially during the epidemic that has almost stuck everyone in place.
331 Station (Coffee War)
331 Station (or Coffee War) is located on Sukhumvit Road, Na Chom Thian, Sattahip District, Chon Buri Province, about an hour's drive from Bangkok. The cafe is actually two decommissioned commercial airplanes, converted into a unique coffee space. Opened a year ago, this land was previously used as an airplane hangar. Now, instead of traveling in the air, guests of the two A330s and L10-11s can freely take photos and sip drinks. This unique idea has made a strong impression on Thai youth since its launch and is still sought after by many tourists around the world.

The interior of the plane remains the same. The typical airplane seats are still there, except there is a table in front for drinks. Passengers can choose to sit in rows from economy to business class, then stop by the bar to order drinks. Many passengers also experience exploring the cockpit themselves, something they cannot do on a regular flight. In addition to the space inside the coffee plane, 331 Station also has many other planes and some cars next to it, looking like a miniature military zone.

747 Cafe
It’s not every day you can hop on a plane for lunch, but that’s exactly what you can experience at the 747 Cafe. Although Boeing announced the end of production of the Boeing 747 earlier this year, the iconic aircraft still reigns supreme at the 747 Cafe, located in a field in Bangkok’s Lat Krabang district.

On the plane complete with cockpit and empty jet engine, visitors can freely visit and take pictures. The menu of the shop is quite rich with many types of drinks such as Italian tea, roasted coffee grown right in Chiang Rai province, helping to support and introduce products of local farmers.
You will definitely have an enjoyable experience when being greeted by flight attendants, pilots and even using real-looking plane tickets (actually a drink bill), giving you the feeling of taking a flight in the sky.

Na-Oh Bangkok
Na-Oh Bangkok is located inside a large, silver Lockheed L-1011 aircraft, located in the heart of the Changchui complex, Bangkok. However, Na-Oh is not simply serving pastries, food or drinks on the plane, but is a “futuristic dining restaurant that promotes culinary and cultural innovation”. Although the restaurant is designed very elegantly and luxuriously, the food here is not expensive. The restaurant is open on weekdays from 18:00 to 22:00 (except Wednesday).

Niagara N Garden
Niagara N Garden is a newly opened airplane cafe in Nakhon Pathom, a province in Central Thailand. Not just one airplane, the cafe's spacious campus has 3 airplanes and a coast guard patrol boat, along with a green garden with a lake, green pine trees, waterfall walls...

Visitors can try walking on the wings of the plane, sip drinks in both indoor and outdoor spaces, watch the 50m high artificial waterfall Niagara, the largest in the restaurant or freely check-in every corner of the plane. The menu of the restaurant is also extremely diverse with Thai dishes, European dishes, snacks, coffee, drinks, a total of up to 500 dishes. Niagara N Garden officially opened to welcome guests from September 20, the restaurant serves from 10:00 to 22:00 on weekdays from Monday to Friday. Weekends and holidays open from 9:30 to 23:00.
