In particular, tourists participating in the program and posting photos of their travels in Busan, Daegu, and Jeju on their personal social media accounts have the chance to receive attractive gifts. This is part of a program aimed at spreading the appeal of Korean local tourism in Southeast Asia through social media.

Jung Ki Jung, Director of the Asia and Middle East Tourism Promotion Division of the Korea Tourism Organization, stated, “As of last year, over 2 million tourists from Southeast Asia visited Korea, a 38% increase compared to the previous year. Therefore, through proactive promotional policies, we aim to achieve even greater double-digit growth this year. Expanding promotion to independent travelers through the flexible application of online channels such as social media and collaborating with businesses and local governments will contribute to attracting more tourists to Korean localities.”
