Hoang Tu Lien, a 21-year-old girl from Dien Chau, Nghe An, has made her dream of exploring the world come true during more than a year of studying abroad in Germany. Lien not only pursued a vocational training program, but also conquered 12 countries in Europe, experiencing beautiful cultures and landscapes that many people dream of. With each trip, she accumulated more life experiences, memorable memories and valuable lessons.

The first journey to Paris - the beginning of a dream
Lien’s adventure to explore Europe began with a visit to the city of lights, Paris. After that first trip, she was captivated by the beauty of the diverse cultures that each country in Europe had to offer. With easy access to information through travel articles, beautiful photos on social networks and endless curiosity, Hoang Tu Lien decided to explore neighboring countries on her own whenever she had free time.

With the advantage of not needing a visa when traveling between Schengen countries, Lien can easily carry out her journey. Most of the time, Lien chooses to travel independently, she meticulously plans and researches the country she will visit: from culture, cuisine, public transportation to famous check-in spots. Iceland is the only exception when she decided to join a tour organized by Vietnamese people there to enjoy the service of hunting for aurora at night.

Of the 12 countries that Tu Lien has visited, Switzerland, Iceland, France and Italy are the destinations that she is most attached to. “Switzerland is truly a picture perfect place. The Interlaken area, where I went, was like paradise. The beautiful natural scenery and peaceful atmosphere here are indescribable,” Lien recalls.
Each country brings Tu Lien different emotions and experiences.
Iceland, with its wild and majestic beauty of waterfalls, volcanoes and magical auroras, is one of her most wonderful experiences. Meanwhile, France and Italy give her indescribable emotions. Paris with its romance, architecture and unique art culture, and Italy is where every street corner becomes a beautiful check-in spot, from poetic Venice to ancient Rome.
Tu Lien shared: "These countries bring me many emotions and nostalgia when leaving. If I have the chance, I will definitely return to these four places."
Memorable memories on the journey
Not all trips go smoothly. Lien's saddest memory was when she accidentally left her luggage on the train in the Netherlands. She was so busy looking up information on her phone that she got off the train without realizing that her suitcase was still there. She spent an afternoon searching for it but couldn't find it again, so Lien was forced to spend more money to buy new clothes to continue her journey.
However, she also encountered many good things, especially the friendliness and enthusiasm of the people in the countries she visited. "The most impressive thing was the Swiss people, where the majority of people can speak many languages such as German, French, English, and even Italian. They are very friendly and willing to help, which makes me feel extremely warm," Lien shared.

From personal experience, Lien has drawn many valuable experiences for those who want to conquer Europe. According to her, planning each trip in detail is extremely important. Learning about public transportation, famous places, hotels, and even local culture will help save time and avoid unnecessary trouble.
One thing she emphasizes is to always prepare a phone strap and be careful with personal belongings, especially when traveling to popular tourist countries like France and Italy. Being careful will help you avoid risks such as theft or loss of belongings.

“When you are young, dare to dream and make your dreams come true. I hope that in the future I will have more time and earn more money to be able to explore more places as I wish. She believes that, with effort, everyone can make their wishes come true, whether it is a long journey or a close dream in life.
