January 15, 2022 - Ho Tram, Vietnam – The Grand Ho Tram Strip resort complex and leading global hotel group IHG Hotels & Resorts officially opened Holiday Inn Resort Ho Tram Beach. This is part of a partnership and franchise agreement signed in 2019. The opening marks the first appearance of the Holiday Inn Resort brand in Vietnam, adding 561 hotel rooms and suites to The Grand Ho Tram Strip resort complex.

Including the InterContinental Grand Ho Tram hotel, The Grand Ho Tram Strip complex now boasts over 1,100 rooms, offering a variety of entertainment experiences for guests, including a world-class casino, the award-winning The Bluffs golf course, entertainment activities, MICE services, and other resort projects.

According to a strategic cooperation agreement signed in 2019, Ho Tram Project Company Limited (HTP) and IHG Hotels & Resorts reached a franchise agreement to open the first Holiday Inn Resort in Vietnam. In 2020, The Grand hotel tower also rebranded as InterContinental Grand Ho Tram.

Upon its opening, Holiday Inn Resort Ho Tram Beach will expand the existing amenities of the resort complex, such as swimming pools, a gym, and a spa, and add many entertainment facilities such as a Kids Quarter, Game Zone, food court, indoor 3D golf simulator, outdoor park area with a giant chessboard model and a green maze, restaurants and bars, offering a diverse range of culinary styles for guests.

Aimed at serving domestic families, all hotel rooms and luxury suites, as well as the signature family suites of the Holiday Inn Resort brand, are designed with open, airy, and bright spaces. In addition, The Grand Ho Tram Strip plans to open more family-friendly amenities next year, including a movie theater and an impressive bowling alley – amenities that Walt Power enthusiastically shared he was “eager to be the first guests to enter the movie theater and play the first round of bowling at the Bowling Alley.”

Notably, guests at Holiday Inn Resort Ho Tram Beach can utilize the amenities and entertainment facilities of the entire Grand Ho Tram Strip resort, including a modern conference center with a capacity of up to 1,100 guests, over 15 restaurants and bars, a food court, a casino, a spa, a shopping center, a gym, a mini-golf course, a cinema, a game zone, karaoke, an outdoor amusement park, and a wide range of water sports activities stretching along 2.2km of the Ho Tram coastline.

Furthermore, guests can earn IHG® Rewards points, one of the world's largest loyalty programs, from all their spending during their stay at Holiday Inn Resort Ho Tram Beach and redeem points at any of the more than 6,000 hotels across 16 IHG Hotels & Resorts brands worldwide. Looking at the challenges currently facing the hospitality and tourism industry, Mr. Walt Power stated that the hotel's opening will bring about certain economic impacts: “Holiday Inn Resort not only attracts tourists to visit Ba Ria – Vung Tau province and has created approximately 500 additional jobs, bringing the total number of employees here to over 2,000, but also promotes economic development for the entire province and the Ho Tram area.”
