When it comes to augmented reality (AR) technology, most people think of video games or virtual reality tours. So what happens when this technology is applied to art? Visitors to the Scène Nationale Albi exhibition center will have the opportunity to experience art in a completely new way.
Titled "Mirages & Miracles," the exhibition combines painting, sculpture, and AR technology. This combination brings a fresh perspective to traditional artworks.
The idea for this unique exhibition was planned long ago by the artist duo Claire Bardainne and Adrien Mondot. Making this exhibition a reality required a team of artists and engineers with extensive knowledge of AR technology.
Engineers had to use augmented reality drawings, along with holographic images combined with very large-scale projections, to create vivid works of art. Through smart devices, the images come to life, playing with the static paintings and sculptures.

Mirages & Miracles stands as a pioneer in combining classical art with scientific technology, paving the way for a new era of museums and exhibitions in the future.
