Considered the “Oscar” of the world architecture industry, WAF (World Architecture Festival) is a prestigious annual international event in the field of architecture to honor outstanding architectural works, where talented architects from all countries come together to celebrate architectural achievements around the world.
This year, surpassing thousands of other design teams, The Veil - White Palace Pham Van Dong was on the shortlist, including more than 400 projects in many categories and alongside 20 outstanding projects by the world's leading architects and design teams in the Display: Completed Buildings category. The project was designed by architect Nghiem Dinh Toan (me+ Architect).

Inspired by the bride's veil on her wedding day, seen from the outside, The Veil with its emotional, fragile, translucent veil design hugs the walkways and creates a crease for the building, thereby opening up a magical space inside. This design has contributed to the visualization of the building as well as creating depth for the interior space and creating a mysterious, somewhat private feeling from the outside.
This idea also helps to maximize the open space in front of the main part of the building. Thereby increasing the interaction between people in the event and conference space...

The project was completed within 11 months. Not only has aesthetic and commercial value, The Veil - White Palace Pham Van Dong also created a small fever when it was the place with the most famous people checking in and taking photos in Ho Chi Minh City.
