The magical world of Ghibli welcomes visitors
Nestled among the lush green forests of Aichi Prefecture, Japan, Ghibli Park is a dream destination for Studio Ghibli fans. This place is like a door leading visitors into a magical world created from emotional animated films.
Every step in Ghibli Park is a pleasant surprise. Visitors feel like they are lost in a fairy tale, meet their favorite characters and experience magical moments.
Ghibli Park has many play areas modeled after animated films.
Take a stroll through Wind Valley Village, soak up the peaceful atmosphere and admire the moss-covered tile-roofed houses. Stop at Whispering Slope, where you will meet the giant Totoro and his mischievous friends in the mysterious forest.
Continue your journey and explore Kiki's Castle, where you can try your hand at being an apprentice witch and soar through the skies. Come to the Forest of Light, and you will be lost in the mystical world of Yubaba and Haku, where miracles can happen at any time.
"High" ticket prices: Joy mixed with anxiety
According to Mainichi, all areas of Ghibli Park will open to visitors on March 16, 2024. Among them, area number 5 named "Witch Valley" is highly anticipated by many fans.
However, in addition to the joy, many fans are also worried about the high entrance fee to Ghibli Park. From March 16, visitors with "O-Sanpo Day Pass" tickets will be able to enter all 5 areas of the park, but only "O-Sanpo Day Pass Premium" tickets are allowed to visit all buildings, including "Satsuki and Mei's House". Meanwhile, "Light Sanpo Pass" tickets allow people to enter all areas except "Ghibli's Grand Warehouse".
All areas of Ghibli Park will open to visitors on March 16.
This has made many people, especially families with young children, afraid that they will not have enough financial ability to experience Ghibli Park. Many fans also expressed their wish that the park will have preferential policies for disadvantaged people so that everyone has the opportunity to come here and explore the magical world of Ghibli.
Despite many concerns, the reopening of Ghibli Park is still good news for Studio Ghibli fans around the world. This place promises to bring unique and unforgettable experiences, taking visitors into a world full of emotions and imagination.
From March 16, Ghibli Park will apply higher ticket prices than before.
