Cuba's Ministry of Transport confirmed that the country's ports are ready to receive visitors from abroad, and have incorporated strict epidemiological control measures to ensure health security.
Following Cuba’s latest announcement about reopening its doors to international tourists, British cruise line Ambassador Cruise Line has announced that it will launch its “Cuba and Caribbean Treasures” cruise in January 2023. The itinerary is expected to include overnight stays in the capital city of Havana and Santiago de Cuba.
With the epidemic situation in Cuba being well controlled, opening to international tourists is expected to gradually restore the country's sea tourism industry in the coming months.

The complicated developments of the Covid-19 pandemic worldwide and the unilateral sanctions imposed by the US have made the revival of tourism in Cuba difficult. However, Cuba is still trying its best to complete the goal of opening the country and gradually becoming one of the attractive destinations for any tourist looking for a peaceful place.
The Cuban government, especially the country's health sector, is making constant efforts to help the country recover from the Covid-19 pandemic. Before the pandemic broke out, Cuba regularly welcomed a large number of tourists from the UK, Germany and the US by ship.
