On the afternoon of September 8, the People's Committee of Lam Dong province issued a document allowing the operation of a number of services related to Covid-19 epidemic prevention in the new normal context.
Accordingly, from 5:00 p.m. on September 8, some activities and services are allowed to resume with the following notes:
- Sports and physical training activities (indoor sports activities are limited to a maximum of 50% of the number of people compared to normal days);
- Hairdressing and beauty services (apply 1 employee + 1 customer) and only serve at 50% capacity at the same time compared to normal days (for facilities with 2 or more beds and chairs);
- Restaurants (including sidewalk restaurants) can serve no more than 50% of the number of people at the same time compared to normal days (only a maximum of 50% of tables and chairs can be arranged);
- Supermarkets and markets must comply with the 2m distance between people, and serve no more than 50% of the number of customers at the same time compared to normal days;
- Allowing the reopening of intra-provincial tourism activities for tourist attractions and accommodation establishments of 2 stars or higher. The establishments must ensure no more than 2 people/room; capacity no more than 50%.
According to this document, service points must continue to require customers to make electronic declarations and implement the 5K epidemic prevention principles. People should limit going out after 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next morning.
Officials, civil servants, and public employees go to work as usual at their agencies but continue to limit contact within the agency if not really necessary; state agencies are allowed to go on business trips to the grassroots but ensure a compact composition.
Allowing visitors to work and conduct transactions at state agencies, but only in cases of real necessity. Agencies must arrange a separate reception area from the working space (visitors must have a valid negative Covid-19 test certificate).
Currently, Lam Dong has basically controlled the Covid-19 epidemic, with no new positive cases recorded in the community; the risk of the epidemic mainly comes from drivers, cargo transport assistants and citizens returning from epidemic areas. Lam Dong is also a locality that does not apply Directives 15 and 16 in anti-epidemic activities but only adjusts social activities through documents corresponding to the epidemic's progress at each time.
