Recently, photographer Bui Huy Tuong (artistic name toilatuong, from Quang Binh), currently living and working in Da Lat, spontaneously shared a series of photos of autumn in the city of a thousand flowers, which went viral on social media. The photos evoked strong emotions in those who have visited Da Lat, a feeling of nostalgia and a desire to return, while those who haven't yet been there became even more curious.
Dalat at dawn
In the eyes of a lover, it goes without saying how dreamy Da Lat is.
Many people can't answer the question of which place in Da Lat is the most beautiful. Da Lat is enchantingly beautiful, from the wildflowers growing along the roadside. Da Lat isn't very large, but not everyone gets to fully appreciate and explore all the dreamy beauty of this city. Just being in Da Lat, every scene is beautiful and poetic, but it becomes even more beautiful in the eyes of those who are captivated by its charm…

When visiting Da Lat, each person will find their own perspective and feelings.
To capture the autumn photos of Da Lat, Huy Tuong spent several months, using his free time to wander through the streets and record the simple, everyday scenes of Da Lat. It could be early morning, sunset, or even after the rain. Huy Tuong created an album of beautiful and simple autumn photos of Da Lat to share with everyone, allowing them to see and learn about Da Lat from a new perspective.
Inside Da Lat Market
The climate here is mild and cool all year round.
"I have a very special feeling about autumn in Da Lat. I love Da Lat because it has nurtured the soul of 'toilatuong' today. When I wander through every corner of the city, breathing in the air, observing the people around me, the trees, the flowers, everything becomes so peaceful. If I'm lucky, I might inspire others with my passion for photography," Huy Tuong shared with Travellive.
The winding slopes, mountain passes, and lush green pine forests hidden in the mist have, for a long time, become a unique feature that evokes fond memories for visitors from afar whenever they think of Da Lat city. Some love Da Lat for its incredibly fresh air. But there are also those who are so captivated that they can spend hours admiring the serene beauty of Xuan Huong Lake, watching the people coming and going in the warm sunlight or the mist enveloping the trees.
The golden sunlight spreads across the asphalt of every street corner and road.

Da Lat is always beautiful and poetic, but it's most poetic in autumn, when the leaves turn golden as they change color, and when mist weaves its way through the green pine forests.
Huy Tuong said: "The locations I photographed in the album are usually in peaceful areas, alleyways, slopes... generally, when I go shooting, I always go to places I don't know to see more new and interesting things."
Don't just stay in the city center or the famous, crowded places. Follow the rustling pine trees in the wind, traverse the winding slopes and small alleyways, and you will find a Da Lat that remains unchanged, a Da Lat for romantic dreamers.

Persimmons are a highly sought-after specialty in Da Lat. When the persimmon season arrives, you can find this delicious and sweet fruit for sale everywhere. In the early autumn, the vibrant red persimmons on the trees are a favorite spot for young people to take photos and check in.

Even amidst the hustle and bustle of life outside, Da Lat offers a peaceful haven for the soul.

On a chilly day, sitting in a small eatery enjoying familiar snacks like roasted sweet potatoes, grilled corn, grilled rice paper... and sipping a steaming cup of soy milk or hot coffee – what could be better?
