According to information from the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, four destinations in Da Nang will be open free of charge to all visitors on September 2nd.

These destinations are considered the "cultural heart" of Da Nang, preserving unique historical, artistic, and natural values. All have been and are being upgraded and renovated to enhance the experience, promising memorable moments for visitors. This decision to offer free entry is sure to attract a large number of tourists, creating a vibrant and bustling cultural atmosphere on National Day.

Despite the hot weather, tourist attractions in Da Nang, especially outdoor areas, remained crowded with visitors. Along the flower-lined street near Bach Dang pedestrian street, many people visited early in the morning to take photos and capture moments amidst the vibrant floral displays celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day. Notably, starting on September 1st, the Da Nang Museum welcomed thousands of visitors. Many wore traditional ao dai (Vietnamese long dress) and scarves printed with the red flag and yellow star, taking pictures together with the exhibits and the national flag, creating a moving and proud scene.

Average hotel occupancy reached approximately 55-60%, an impressive figure demonstrating the strong recovery and development of the local tourism industry. Notably, air traffic also increased dramatically.

The number of visitors to Da Nang has increased sharply compared to the same period last year.

During the five-day peak period from August 29th to September 2nd, Da Nang Airport is expected to receive 730 flights, equivalent to 146 flights per day, a 25.9% increase compared to the previous year. Domestic flights will dominate with 436 arrivals, a 35.4% increase. In addition, Chu Lai Airport will also record 34 domestic flights, remaining stable compared to the same period last year. These figures clearly demonstrate Da Nang's appeal during this major national holiday.
