Grand Egyptian Museum (Egypt)
The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), designed in a modern style by the Irish architectural firm Heneghan Peng at a cost of approximately $1 billion, is located on the edge of the Giza plateau, about 1.2 km drive from the ancient pyramids. It will serve as the cultural site for the existing Egyptian Museum in Cairo.

The Grand Egyptian Museum will house approximately 100,000 ancient artifacts, including items from the tomb of King Tutankhamun and a massive 3,200-year-old statue of Ramses II – one of the greatest pharaohs in Egyptian history. It will cover an area of approximately 500,000 square meters.2- Twice the size of the Metropolitan Museum of Art (MET) in New York, GEM is expected to welcome more than 15,000 visitors per day after it opens in November 2022.



National Museum of the Middle Ages - Musée de Cluny (France)
It has been seven years since France began extensive renovations at the National Museum of the Middle Ages. From September 29, 2020, the museum was completely closed for the final phase of the project. Following this change, visitors will discover a brand-new museum, once again stepping into the grounds of the 15th-century Clunny abbot's residence, and being overwhelmed by the 1,800 exhibits – including objects from Notre Dame Cathedral and Sainte-Chapelle.

National Museum of Norway
Designed by German architect Kleihues Schuwerk, upon its opening on June 11, 2022, the National Museum of Norway will become the largest Nordic museum ever. Inside, the museum will include the National Gallery, the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Museum of Design and Decorative Arts, and will also offer ideal views of the town hall square and the Oslo waterfront.
Over 5,000 works of architecture, design, and art by Norwegian and international artists will be on display here. Among them are several notable pieces, including Norway's most important painting, "Winter Night on the Mountain" by Harald Sohlberg, "The Scream" by Edvard Munch, and a self-portrait by Vincent van Gogh.

Sydney Modern Museum (Australia)
Although Sydney Modern isn't actually a completely new museum, the extension to the Art Gallery of New South Wales is sure to become a major attraction, thanks to its new collection and the building's new design.
Designed by Studio SANAA – a Pritzker Prize-winning studio from Japan – Sydney Modern comprises several nested rectangular buildings overlooking Sydney Harbour and a public arts garden along with extensive outdoor space. The museum expects to welcome over 2 million visitors annually after its opening.

ReefLine Underwater Park (Miami Beach, USA)
Miami's new ReefLine underwater park is sure to be a fantastic destination for diving enthusiasts, as it's a true underwater sculpture park, stretching over 11 kilometers and built by the renowned architectural studio OMA. It features stacked concrete modules located approximately 3 meters from the Miami coastline. Visitors can experience the sensation of admiring art installations amidst coral reefs and endangered marine life.

Ximena Caminos, curator of the museum, said: "This series of artificial reefs, designed by artists based on research by scientists, will demonstrate to the world how tourism, artistic expression, and the creation of habitats essential for life can coexist harmoniously."
Museum of the Future (Dubai)
Dubai's Museum of the Future houses extraordinary artifacts that visitors can admire from the outside. The entire building is a giant torus, with the outer circle symbolizing humanity and knowledge, and the empty space in the middle representing a distant, uncertain future.

The building's facade, designed by local architectural studio Killa Design, is covered with verses by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum – the Prime Minister of Dubai and also a renowned Nabati poet. Inside, each floor will host different interactive exhibitions on themes such as climate change, space travel, health, spirituality, and ecology. The museum is scheduled to open on February 22nd and tickets are already on sale.

Robot Science Museum (South Korea)
Scheduled to open in late 2022, Seoul's newest museum will be the first to showcase everything about robotics. The building's exterior, resembling a spherical structure that feels futuristic, was designed by the Turkish-based studio Melike Altinisik Architects (MAA). Upon opening, visitors will be able to experience the latest artificial intelligence, holographic technology, virtual reality, and robotics models.

Broadway Museum (New York, USA)
Music fans and theater lovers will undoubtedly be thrilled because this summer, the first museum dedicated solely to Broadway theater will open in the heart of New York City's Theater District.
The Broadway Museum will offer "interactive experiences to recreate groundbreaking moments in the history of Broadway theater." Immersive videos, performed by a variety of contemporary artists, will tell the story of New York City's glamorous theater industry and highlight iconic Broadway musicals.

NFT Digital Museum (Washington, USA)
In March 2021, a digital NFT by digital artist Beeple grossed an astonishing $69 million. This work elevated Beeple's name to the ranks of artists like Claude Monet and Mark Rothko in terms of the artistic value of his contributions.

According to Collins, NFT (non-fungible token) is"A unique digital certificate registered in a blockchain, used to record ownership of an asset such as artwork or collectibles."In 2021, the term NFT was used with great frequency, surpassing hot topics like Covid-19, Crypto, and Metaverse to become the most prominent word of the year. Therefore, it's no surprise that the first digital NFT museum opened on January 27, 2022, in one of America's largest technology hubs – Seattle. And of course, this is a completely physical museum, not based on metaverse technology.

The museum's expansive space will house approximately 30 screens, each ranging from 43 to 85 inches, allowing visitors to admire artwork by numerous international and local artists. Highlights include a range of works by artist Blake Kathryn, Larva Labs' hugely popular CryptoPunks avatars, and never-before-seen NFTs featuring the band Nirvana and singer Kurt Cobain by photographer Charles Peterson.
