Travel businesses promote tourism in Northeast Vietnam.

Recognizing the strong growth trend in tourism towards the Northeast region, PYS Travel organized the Northeast Journey FAM Trip from November 17-20, with the participation of over 80 representatives from 60 travel companies and media outlets from the North, Central, and South of Vietnam. This event also marked a significant milestone and a major step forward for PYS Travel in the domestic tourism market.

During the first three days of the survey trip, the delegation visited famous landmarks in Ha Giang such as the Dong Van Stone Plateau, Lung Cam Cultural Village, Lung Cu Flagpole, Ma Pi Leng Pass, etc. They also participated in activities to learn about the local culture, such as a reenactment of the Dao people's coming-of-age ceremony, the Sa Phin backward market, and learning about the Mong people's linen weaving techniques. Notably, the delegation visited Lung Tam Primary School in Quan Ba ​​District, Ha Giang Province, and presented 143 gifts to the boarding students.

The final stop on the survey trip was Pac Ngoi community tourism village at Ba Be Lake. Here, the group experienced a nature exploration tour of Ba Be Lake and enjoyed homestay services provided by the local people. Most members of the group were satisfied with the quality of service and the sightseeing tours on the lake to attractions such as Tien Cave, Ba Goa Island, and An Ma Temple.

The 2014 Northeast Fam Trip served as a bridge, enabling travel businesses to survey, identify, and develop new tourism products, especially ecotourism and community-based tourism linked to poverty reduction in the locality. It also fostered close collaboration in exchanging information and experiences on tourism development between travel agencies and local authorities.
