The Famtrip organized by the UNESCO Hanoi Travel Club is part of the "Vietnam Tourism Business Festival" series of events with the theme "Connecting - Responsibility - Solidarity - Action".
On the morning of January 11th, representatives from various businesses joined hands to clean up trash in the Ben Duc - Suoi Yen area, near Huong Pagoda, demonstrating their commitment to environmental protection.
According to Mr. Truong Quoc Hung, Chairman of the UNESCO Hanoi Club, the club's leadership launched this event with the hope that tourism businesses would work together to promote and say no to plastic waste, and at the same time call on tourists to support this campaign during the festival season and the rest of the year.
Here are some photos capturing the activities of the famtrip event at Huong Pagoda.

In 2019, the UNESCO Hanoi Travel Club organized numerous famtrips, including the "Connecting the Two Banks of the Hau River" tourism survey trip between Tra Vinh and Soc Trang, a cross-country famtrip to the USA and Cuba, a famtrip to open a Bali-Indonesia route, and a famtrip to Eastern Europe. These tourism survey programs were integrated with various activities such as B2B meetings and exchanges with local businesses. Notably, the UNESCO Hanoi Travel Club collaborated on the "Mekong Caravan: A Gathering of Colors 2019" program, involving over 100 businesses traveling through eight provinces in the Mekong Delta, undertaking charitable projects such as building bridges, providing clean water, and installing rural electricity to develop infrastructure and promote green tourism in this promising region.
After 10 years of formation and development, the UNESCO Hanoi Travel Club has become one of the largest tourism clubs in the country with up to 1,000 member organizations.
