This congress aims to elect outstanding individuals who will contribute to the development of the capital's tourism industry, while also finding practical solutions to jointly develop businesses in the new situation, creating sustainable values for Hanoi's tourism industry in the future.

Attending this Congress were over 600 delegates, including leaders from national tourism agencies/tourism promotion agencies; provincial Departments of Tourism/Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism/provincial information and promotion centers; the Vietnam Federation of UNESCO Associations/Hanoi Federation of Friendship Organizations/Hanoi UNESCO Association; travel associations/associations/clubs nationwide; press agencies; and especially over 400 CEOs of domestic and international travel companies and tourism service providers. Travellive magazine was the official media sponsor for this event.
The event also included a ceremony to present certificates of merit to club members who had made outstanding contributions from 2016-2019, and a ceremony to present certificates of membership to new club members.


In addition, as an annual tradition, the UNESCO Hanoi Travel Club also organized a series of business networking activities: “Connecting - Responsibility - Solidarity - Action” for guests and club members on January 11, 2020. The program included a "Green Journey Famtrip" at Ben Duc, Yen Stream, and Huong Pagoda; a "Business Matching - Networking and Business Exchange"; and a Gala Dinner in Hanoi. This was an opportunity for members and guests to meet, network, share experiences, challenges, and successes of the past year, and look forward to the tasks for the new year.

To date, after 10 years of operation and development, the UNESCO Hanoi Travel Club continues to leverage its networking strength and aspires to reach new heights in its mission.”

The "Gala Reunion of Three Regions" and "Tourism CEO Gathering" programs, organized by the Club since 2017, have become a major event for Vietnamese tourism businesses, connecting and fostering interaction among nearly 1,000 Club members and international friends.
