But with the current serious pandemic situation, the village has become deserted and quiet. Village chief Michael Gruber is planning to change the mascot's name, and even the village's name.

Michael Gruber said: “At first people found it quite funny and interesting, but now we can’t laugh anymore.” He added to AFP: “Perhaps the village will change the mascot’s name in the latest promotional campaign. We hope to attract more tourists here.”
