Traveling to North America, don't forget Toronto

People often mistakenly think that the capital of Canada is Toronto, not Ottawa, because Toronto is not only the largest and most populous city, but also a famous tourist destination that attracts many domestic and international visitors.

New York-based photographer Colin Gordon spent a weekend wandering around Toronto, exploring the colorful and vibrant city and capturing its soul through his lens. He said he has been to Toronto many times for work, but has never explored the city so spontaneously as this time. "Sometimes not having a plan is the best plan!" he quipped.

Toronto is located north of Lake Ontario, bordering the province of Quebec to the east, New York state to the southeast and Michigan to the southwest. This is Canada's largest and most vibrant city, also the commercial, financial, industrial and cultural center of the country, and the capital of Ontario province. Toronto is considered one of the safest cities in North America with cultural, ethnic and artistic diversity. It is also famous for its skyscrapers, the University of Toronto and the world's tallest CN Tower, as well as its transportation system, specifically the StreetCar and Subway systems, which are extremely convenient for residents and visitors.

Toronto is considered a global city with nearly 50% of the city's population being immigrants from all over the world. Therefore, the Government is very concerned about cultural issues and it can be said that the city is a vivid picture of multi-ethnic culture. Nowhere else has as many ethnic neighborhoods as Toronto, with Chinatown, Corso Italia, Greektown, Kensington Market, Koreatown, Little India, Little Italy, Jamaica, Portugal and Roncesvalles... With such a diverse culture, you do not have to worry about being alone when visiting this vibrant city!
