On the evening of September 2nd, Hanoi will simultaneously hold fireworks displays at five locations, offering residents and tourists a dazzling light show in the capital's sky. According to the plan of the Hanoi People's Committee, the fireworks display commemorating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd (event A80) will take place simultaneously at five locations, divided into high-altitude and low-altitude displays.
The fireworks display is expected to last approximately 15 minutes, from 9 PM to 9:15 PM on September 2nd. This is enough time for the colorful light show to illuminate the Hanoi night sky. This year, the fireworks displays are widely distributed, from the city center to the suburban districts, making it easy for people in many areas to enjoy them without having to travel too far.
Hanoi will simultaneously hold fireworks displays at five locations, offering residents and tourists a dazzling light show in the capital's sky.
Specifically, the list of 5 official fireworks display locations includes: Hoan Kiem Lake, Thong Nhat Park, My Dinh National Stadium, Lac Long Quan Flower Garden (Tay Ho District), and Van Quan Lake (Ha Dong District). Hoan Kiem Lake will have two fireworks display sites, located in front of the Hanoi Post Office and in front of the Hanoi Moi Newspaper headquarters, creating a spectacular light show right in the heart of the city. Thong Nhat Park, with its spacious and green environment, is an ideal location for residents in Hai Ba Trung District and surrounding areas. Meanwhile, My Dinh National Stadium, with its large capacity, will be the focal point for audiences in the western part of the city, where many residential areas and new urban developments are concentrated.
The area in front of the Hanoi Moi newspaper headquarters is one of five locations for fireworks displays in the capital city.
The allocation of fireworks display locations also reflects the city government's concern for serving people in different areas. Lac Long Quan Flower Garden by West Lake is the perfect choice for residents in the northern part of the capital, while Van Quan Lake will be the meeting point for residents of Ha Dong district and neighboring districts, helping to alleviate traffic pressure and creating the most favorable conditions for everyone to enjoy the festive atmosphere. The combination of central and suburban firing points will create a comprehensive fireworks display, spreading the festive atmosphere throughout the city.
The fireworks display will last approximately 15 minutes, from 9 PM to 9:15 PM on September 2nd.
To ensure the safety and success of the event, the Hanoi People's Committee issued Official Document No. 4827/UBND-NC, directing departments, agencies, and local authorities to coordinate closely. Security, order, and fire prevention at fireworks display locations and surrounding areas are prioritized. The police force will increase patrols and controls, and implement traffic diversion and regulation plans to avoid congestion when people flock to the fireworks viewing spots.
The fireworks displays are expected to create a majestic, dazzling, and colorful atmosphere, adding a highlight to this major national holiday.
Logistics and public services are also given priority. Mobile toilets will be strategically placed and managed by a dedicated team to best serve the public. After the program concludes, waste collection and disposal will be carried out promptly to ensure the streets are clean and beautiful again.
In addition, it is necessary to strengthen security and order, fire prevention and control... at the locations of LED screens and technical equipment serving communication, broadcasting, and television, and at points for supplying essential logistical supplies.
The National Day fireworks display is not just an entertainment event, but also carries profound cultural significance. Each dazzling display in the sky symbolizes national pride, the country's development, and a deep tribute to the generations of ancestors who sacrificed for independence and freedom.
This is an opportunity for people across the country to unite, remember their roots, and feel the sacred atmosphere of the holiday. Thorough preparation and coordinated efforts from relevant agencies will ensure a truly complete, safe, and unforgettable National Day celebration on September 2nd in Hanoi.
