Due to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) deciding to ease entry procedures for 12 countries, including Vietnam, and the UK adding the UAE to its Amber List (a list of countries with a medium risk level), Emirates will restore its operational capacity in 29 cities within its network with over 270 flights, as well as adjust flight schedules to increase frequency and capacity as demand for international leisure and business travel continues to rise.
Accordingly, passengers from Vietnam can transit through Dubai to continue their journey to other destinations of the airline such as Spain, France, the United States, and Canada. Travelers to Dubai must have a negative Covid-19 PCR test result certificate issued no more than 72 hours before departure.

By October, Emirates will be increasing its services to the UK to 73 flights per week, including six flights per day to London Heathrow, doubling the number of daily flights to Manchester, 10 flights per week to Birmingham, and daily flights to Glasgow.
Emirates currently operates flights to 12 cities in the US with over 70 flights per week, and plans to add flights to Houston, Boston, and San Francisco in August. The airline has also scheduled flights to and from South Africa to ensure convenient connections and access to four additional destinations in the UK, as well as to its US network.

As borders reopen and travel restrictions ease, Emirates will continue to expand its network safely and sustainably. The airline has resumed passenger services to more than 120 destinations and has restored nearly 90% of its route network to pre-pandemic levels.
