Attending the event, the Gala "Vietnam Night" was honored to welcome Ms. Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh, Former Vice President, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung - Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr. Phan Van Mai - Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City; along with leaders of international tourism ministries; leaders of international cities and provinces and cities of Vietnam with the participation of representatives of tourist destinations and businesses from 42 countries and territories. The Gala "Vietnam Night" also had the participation of 5 beauty queens from Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and the representative of Vietnam, Miss Intercontinental 2022, Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc - Media Ambassador of ITE HCMC Fair 2023.

Speaking at the opening of the Gala Night, Mr. Phan Van Mai - Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City emphasized: "The history of the Vietnamese nation was written by generations of hard-working, constantly creative, steadfast, and persistent people who conquered nature, reclaimed land, built villages, and protected the borders. Through history, the shape of Vietnam's mountains and rivers today appears like a watercolor painting with towering mountains, endless valleys, vast fields beside rivers filled with alluvium, landscapes voted as natural wonders of the world and more than 3,200km of coastline, islands with many beaches that captivate tourists.

Vietnam's history is marked by the miraculous transformation and exchange of many different cultures from North to South, from highlands to plains, from mainland to rivers and islands, from ancient to modern, combining East and West. That is the origin of the diversity and harmony of culture, customs, and lifestyles of the communities in all regions of the S-shaped strip of land.
The history of Vietnam over the past thousands of years has been written by the consensus, solidarity, love and mutual support of 54 ethnic groups in peaceful days as well as stormy seasons. In labor, optimistic and warm smiles have created the qualities of the Vietnamese people who are sincere, tolerant, friendly and sincere. In struggle, the silent tears have shaped the values of the steadfast, indomitable people who always love peace, look to the future, cooperate and are friends with all countries and ethnic groups in the world. The program is also a greeting, an invitation for visitors to come to Vietnam to admire the majestic and beautiful nature, to immerse themselves in the friendliness and enthusiasm, to explore and experience the diverse and rich culture, to “live fully in Vietnam”; to love more the days we are living, the people we are meeting; to find yourself in the Vietnamese home.
Tonight's program is also a greeting to distinguished guests of Ho Chi Minh City - a city that cherishes traditional values and always looks to the future, a vibrant, friendly, and exciting destination; a city that harmoniously blends a dynamic, modern lifestyle in a space filled with long-standing architectural and cultural values; a city with modern constructions along the river interspersed with canals and streams; receiving the favor of nature with the Can Gio Mangrove and Sea World Biosphere Reserve, considered the "green lung" of the city; a city where you can find any delicious dish in the world alongside delicious dishes from all over Vietnam".

The opening was a concert with a combination of unique musical instruments called “Echoes of the Country”. Typical traditional musical instruments of the Vietnamese people such as: Dan Da, T'rung, Dinh Pa, Bau, flute... blended together to create a resonant symphony with rich identity. Continuing the program, the audience was also satisfied with the carefully staged performances, full of national pride such as: the dance “Eastern Dawn” and “Vietnamese Smile” choreographed by Duong Nam Long, the song “One Round of Vietnam” performed by a group of singers, the song “Saigon Here We Come” performed by Ayor Group and the performance “Thousands of Vietnamese Dreams” performed by singer Bich Ngoc.
Through the art performances, the Gala "Vietnam Night" recreated a modern, youthful Vietnam but still rich in cultural identity, fully preserving the long-standing traditional values.
