If you've ever dreamed of enchanting ancient settings, where cherry blossoms fall in the wind, silk dresses flutter gently to the sound of pipa music, you'll find that dream amidst the modern streets at an ancient-style cafe in Hanoi.

Beneath the soft pink cherry blossoms, amidst the pristine white hydrangeas and the ethereal mist of early morning, Waha offers a complete experience of an old-world, distinctly Asian yet undeniably inviting.

This place is not just a coffee shop, but a miniature ancient kingdom, a poetic photo studio where anyone can transform into characters straight out of ancient films with just a silk dress and a few steps into a space filled with flowers.

Ms. Hai, manager of Waha, shared: "Despite its small 300 m² space, the cafe utilizes every corner and divides it into the most beautiful areas so that guests can fully immerse themselves in the old-world atmosphere. Vietnamese traditional clothing and costumes are a special feature of the cafe. Guests can take photos in every corner, enjoy coffee and tea, and experience various cultures within this space."

The interior space has a distinctly classic feel.

A magnificent, traditional-style setting amidst the bustling city streets.

Despite its small size of approximately 300 square meters, the space is designed with exquisite skill and artistry, transforming every square meter into a picturesque scene. The cafe is divided into two floors, with the ground floor featuring a stone and wood-paved courtyard adorned with miniature ponds, red bridges, curved pavilions, and striking red wooden columns. Above, cherry blossoms and pink bougainvillea hang in clusters, creating a vibrant, ethereal floral canopy.

The floral displays transport visitors to a scene from a martial arts film, with thin wisps of smoke from the ground-level smoke machines swirling around their feet, making each step feel like they're wandering through a celestial paradise.

The second floor features a wooden balcony with a thatched roof and paper lanterns adorned with traditional patterns. From here, visitors can look down on the entire garden below, where rose bushes laden with fruit, pots of vibrant yellow chrysanthemums, and pristine white hydrangeas mingle, interspersed with the red hues of window frames, the brown tones of wood, and the delicate pink of flowers and foliage.

Flowers are the soul of Waha.

Waha is likened to a "miniature peach blossom garden" in the heart of Hanoi. The flowers here are not merely for decoration but have become the soul of the cafe. From real rose bushes laden with fruit in the corner of the courtyard to artificial peach blossom branches cascading down like spring rain, flowers at Waha appear in every nook and cranny, in every view, creating an enchanting "sea of flowers."

Beneath the trees, hydrangea pots are carefully arranged to ensure each frame has a balanced composition, creating a perfect backdrop for the photographer. Along the wooden corridor, flowers hang like a canopy casting shadows, and beside the wall adorned with calligraphy, flowers are scattered like delicate brushstrokes of art.

Beyond being a photography space, Waha also aims to be a place for cultural exchange and preservation of ancient aesthetic values. The calligraphy displayed in the cafe is handwritten by the owner, who loves classical art and wishes to spread traditional values to young people.

The cafe blends traditional and modern styles with contemporary amenities. It offers a diverse selection of drinks, from traditional coffee and Japanese matcha to chrysanthemum tea and tropical fruit sodas. Each item is exquisitely decorated, complementing the ambiance – a cup of floral tea might feature a lotus petal, or a blended iced drink adorned with dried flowers.
