Hanoi ranks among the most attractive destinations.

Following the British capital are Paris (France) and Rome (Italy). In fifth place is Bali, the beautiful coastal city of Indonesia. This is also the highest-ranked Asian country on the list. Next is Phuket in Thailand at sixth place, while Dubai in the UAE ranks tenth. Thus, this year, Asia has three cities in the top 10 most attractive destinations in the world.

For Bali, this is the second consecutive year the city has been named Asia's most attractive destination. Two Indian destinations, Goa and Jaipur, also made it into the top 10 in Asia.

Siem Reap, home to the famous Angkor Wat temple in Cambodia, is ranked 3rd, and Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, ranks 4th in Asia (15th in the world). Both cities are located in the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS), which includes Cambodia, China (Yunnan and Guangxi provinces), Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam.

According to TripAdvisor, in 2019, a large number of Singaporean tourists visited London and Bali, popular destinations in the world and Asia. Tourists experiencing these destinations during peak months can benefit from discounts on airfare and accommodation. For example, they can save up to 40% on hotels in Bali by visiting in January compared to July.

According to TripAdvisor, interest from Singaporean tourists in lesser-known areas of Bali such as Nusa Penida and Uluwatu increased by 398% and 106% respectively between 2016 and 2018, while popular destinations like Kuta and Seminyak decreased by 19% and 15% during the same period.
