In keeping with the theme of the Traditional Craft Village Tourism Festival, TransViet's booth recreated a corner of a Vietnamese countryside village with couplets, bamboo benches displaying peanut candy, sticky rice cakes, and free tea for visitors to sit, relax, and enjoy. TransViet also meticulously prepared a collection of straw costumes for visitors to try on and take souvenir photos. Two straw figures of the characters Tấm and Cám, and a straw carrying pole, were also set up at TransViet's booth for visitors to photograph.

In addition to promoting sales, TransViet also intensified its "No Littering" campaign. TransViet's motto wasn't focused on waste collection, but rather on raising awareness among visitors about proper waste disposal. TransViet's team of volunteers was present throughout the fair to educate and remind people to dispose of waste properly and to promptly prevent littering. TransViet also prepared trash cans designed using materials from rural areas such as bamboo and palm leaves, which were not only suitable for the fairgrounds but also environmentally friendly. This was one of a series of community activities that TransViet carried out throughout 2016 to celebrate its 20th anniversary, alongside its efforts to promote civilized tourism.
