Taking place over four days, this prestigious golf tournament is part of the Asian Tour professional circuit and is the first large-scale golf tournament held in Vietnam since the Ho Tram Open professional tournament was hosted in 2015.

The 2015 Ho Tram Open golf tournament attracted many big names in the world of golf, such as Darren Clarke, Thomas Bjorn, Geoff Ogilvy, and Sergio Garcia, who won the championship after a four-player play-off. With its resounding success and professional organization, the Ho Tram Open was soon voted "Best Event of 2015" by members of the Asian Tour.
And by continuing to host the large-scale Ho Tram Players Championship, The Bluffs golf course is taking another step closer to its goal. “We want this tournament to become the benchmark sporting event that other Asian sporting events in 2018 should aim for,” enthusiastically stated Michael Kelly, Senior Executive Chairman of Asian Coast Development (ACDL), the developer of the Ho Tram Strip and The Bluffs golf course. “We have the experience to organize and know what needs to be done to achieve the best results. Now, all we need to do is find the most suitable partners to implement it.”
To maximize the success of the Ho Tram Players Championship, The Bluffs continues its partnership with Performance54, a leading company specializing in organizing and promoting professional golf tournaments.At the Ho Tram Open, Performance 54 attracted significant attention by fully utilizing the amenities of the billion-dollar complex, including an international five-star hotel and a Las Vegas-style casino in Vietnam.
Throughout the week, golfers, sponsors, and guests had the opportunity to experience all the entertainment amenities that Ho Tram Strip has to offer, from the spectacular Brian McFadden music night and the vibrant Ho Tram Fight Night Muay Thai performances to luxurious poolside parties and a novel casino entertainment night.
Officially opened in 2014, The Bluffs golf course, located on the coast of Ho Tram, has been rated as one of the best golfing experiences. Designed by legendary golfer Greg Norman, this challenging traditional links-style course currently ranks 35th on Golf Digest's list of "100 Best Golf Courses in the World". The Bluffs was also honored to be selected by GOLF Magazine as one of the "Best New Golf Courses in the World 2014".
