Taking place over four days, this prestigious golf tournament is part of the Asian Tour professional tournament system and is the first large-scale golf tournament held in Vietnam since the Ho Tram Open professional tournament hosted in 2015.

The 2015 Ho Tram Open attracted many big names in the world of golf to compete such as Darren Clarke, Thomas Bjorn, Geoff Ogilvy and Sergio Garcia, who won the championship trophy after a play-off round of four golfers. With the resounding success and professional organization, the Ho Tram Open was voted by Asian Tour members as the “Best Event of the Year 2015” not long after.
And by hosting the Ho Tram Players Championship on a grand scale, The Bluffs is one step closer to achieving its goal. “We want this tournament to be the benchmark that other 2018 Asian sporting events should aspire to be,” said Michael Kelly, Executive Chairman of Asian Coast Development (ACDL), the developer of the Ho Tram Strip and The Bluffs. “We have the experience and know what it takes to get the best results. Now we just need to find the right partners to execute it.”

Officially opened in 2014, The Bluffs Golf Course on the coast of Ho Tram has been rated as one of the best golf experiences. Designed by legendary golfer Greg Norman, this challenging traditional links-style golf course is currently ranked 35th in the list of “100 best golf courses in the world” voted by Golf Digest. The Bluffs was also honored by GOLF Magazine as one of the “Best New Golf Courses in the World 2014”.
