Japanese Cuisine Week – The quintessence in every dish of the Land of the Rising Sun
Not only a visual experience, the journey also continues with the taste buds when Japanese Food Week is taking place at La Brasserie. The carefully selected authentic menu honors the spirit of “seasonal cuisine” of Japan.
The highlight of Japanese cuisine is the soft A5 Wagyu beef Sukiyaki, a unique variation of fresh and sweet lobster sashimi and crispy katsu with mushroom curry sauce. In addition, there are Ittou ramen noodles, udon, soba, robatayaki, grilled eel... dishes that are both familiar and sophisticated enough for anyone to want to try.

To complete the party, the party continued with desserts with a strong Japanese flavor: from mochi cakes, Japanese crepes with banana and sweet cheese to melon cheese roll.
Japanese cuisine is renowned for its fresh seasonal ingredients, subtlety in flavours and the art of balance, while also celebrating umami – the soul of soy sauce, miso and seafood. Dishes at the event will be prepared using a variety of traditional methods such as sashimi, grilling and stewing, fully showcasing the quintessence of Japanese cuisine.

Not only stopping at the Doraemon exhibition and buffet party, Japanese Food Week at Nikko Saigon also brings many exciting interactive activities: anime character cosplay contest via social networks, legendary cartoon character exhibition area, and typical beverage experiences such as Japanese sake, Itoen matcha latte or Shiso Umesu cocktail. These experiences contribute to turning the event into a complete Japanese cultural journey, right in the heart of bustling Saigon.
